After the popularity of James Rnadi exposing James Hydrick (http://www.videosift.com/video/James-Randi-exposes-James-Hydrick-telekinesis--2), I thought people might be interested in this. Although it's not as confrontational as the one with James Hydrick, with no direct communicational between Randi and the two protagonists, but you do get to know James Randi more and the kind of person he is.

James Randi has now raised his awards to one million dollars and has taken a more offensive approach as well as more rules on his screening process. He plans to publicly challenge several proclaimed psychics this April to come forth and prove themselves, including Uri Geller, James Van Praagh, Sylvia Browne, and John Edward. For those interested.

haha, my auntie went to get 'surgery' from one of those faith healers in the Philippines. it did look very real but in the end it was more faith than healing, lol.

I taught at the Arkansas Governor's School (a summer school for bright 11th graders) for several years, and we often invited Randi to speak. He was great with the kids, going out of his way to work with them on magic problems and exchanging emails with them. And was very entertaining. He'd meet with the faculty after his lecture, and I was impressed with his sincerity and determination to rid the world of charlatans.

The late, great Johnny Carson was a magician as well. He was harder to fool than any other talk show host, and it is one of the reasons he knew James Randi. They helped each other expose charlatans. It was a mutual admiration society.
